My name is Amy. I am married to a very handsome man named Jon. We will be married for 15 year in July 2018. We are empty-nesters. We have two children, Ashley and Andrew. Ashley graduated from the University of Michigan with her Masters Degree and now living in New Jersey attending Princeton. Soon to graduate with Master of Divinity. Andrew graduated from Ferris State University , got married to my Daughter-in-Law Corina and now lives San Diego, California. So it is just Jon and I at home. It was quite an adjustment to cook for two.

I love cooking, reading and drawing. My favorite thing to do on a Saturday is try out new recipes, crank up some tunes, draw a little and maybe enjoy a glass of Moscato. I want to inspire others to cook. Through many trials and many failures I have learned to cook. So don’t be afraid to try.

Cooking has always been a pleasure to me. I love when someone is eating the food you created and all you hear is yummy noises coming from them. That puts a smile on my face.

Jon loves boating so during the summer months you will most likely find us on our boat. I love the sun and the water. Summer is my favorite time of the year. Fall would come second because that means soup season will be upon us. Nothing wrong with that. So that is the Savory part.

The Sassy part is I will share with you on my Rants and Raves section all that concerns me whether it is a problem I am facing or experience I just can’t wait to share with you. This is where I will release my opinions on topics that are in my everyday life.

I can’t wait to share my recipes and my life with you. Thanks for joining me on this adventure.
